The Home of the Itinerant Drifter
The photos and thoughts of a 50 something traveller.
Welcome!
I am taking on a pretty big change. I have quit my job, will be travelling to the UK and Europe for 3 months then travelling around Australia with my partner working month on, month off and me trying to do a bit of remote work.
While I do this I want to write about and photograph my observations of what I see and experience and share them here. They will be my thoughts but you are free to have a sticky beak into my mind at those times. Hope you enjoy.
OLD TABS:
My music is not amazing, it is just me. It makes me happy to create it and I enjoy listening to it. I thought some others might as well.
My photos are not amazing, they are just mine. I love capturing the beauty of the world to prove that it is not all bad. I thought some others may appreciate this too.
“Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” ― Berthold Auerbach
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” ― Aaron Siskind
